We mourn the passing of Henrietta Pierce on June 6. She was a lifelong resident of the Town of Cochecton and a pillar of the community throughout her life. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Unbroken Acres is holding their first annual Brunch Community Table on Sunday, June 30 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Unbroken Acres in Cochecton, NY. The cost is $40/per person and clipboard signups are at the farm stand for all events.

The Sullivan County Conservation Club in Ferndale, NY is holding its 2024 Bowhunter Youth Camp on Saturday, July 13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, July 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Youth Bowhunter Camp is open to all youth ages 11 to 16 in DEC Region 3, which includes Sullivan County. Space is limited and admission to Youth Camp will be determined by a brief essay each applicant will include with their application due by June 30. St. Paul’s Lutheran Church is excited to announce that Katie’s Cafe, its community free lunch, is back! Join us on the first Saturday of every month from 12 noon to 1 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. This beloved tradition has been serving our community for over 10 years, and we’re thrilled to bring it back after a pause due to COVID-19. Everyone is welcome!
