A whirlwind of emotion

It is that time of year again! The final week of high school and New York State Regents testing is a whirlwind of emotions and activities. It’s a time when the reality of graduation starts to sink in, and the countdown to the next chapter in life begins.

For seniors, it’s a blend of excitement, nostalgia and a bit of anxiety about the future. This last week is filled with memorable moments—from signing yearbooks and attending senior events to cherishing the last few days with friends and teachers who’ve been part of the journey.

It’s a celebration of achievements, a reflection on the past years and a hopeful glance towards what lies ahead. As the halls of high school echo with laughter and farewells, each student steps closer to the next stage, ready to embrace new opportunities and challenges.

Congratulations to Maggie Powell and the Sullivan West Class of 2024!

Have a look at a few events and activities in our community and locally:

Each session includes meditation through music, a creative art project, emotional growth, building confidence, learning to express yourself and 30 minutes in the EESystem room. A snack and drink are included.

It’s led by Tina Mall, who brings 20-plus years of expertise in child care and adolescent development.

The registration fee is $45. Call 845/932-5113 to register.
