Pennsylvania State Police Hill Impact Program

KINGSTON, PA —  The application period for the 2024 Troop N Hill Impact Program is now open and applications are being accepted through November 30. The program will be held Monday evenings from January 8 through April 15, 2024, at the Kingston Armory as well as one Saturday session a month. This paramilitary program is geared to accommodate 60 students ages 15 to 18 that are currently enrolled in high school and seeking a career as a law enforcement officer. Any applicant 14 years of age that has graduated from a Pennsylvania State Police Camp cadet program may also apply. Participants will be introduced to physical training such as running and marching and will instruction on traffic, criminal investigations and other police resources. Individual cadets will also learn time management, self-discipline, and teamwork. Interested applicants can contact Master Trooper David L. Peters at dapeters@pa.gov or 570/459-3900, ext. 269.
