WHITE MILLS, PA — The next weekend of the Wildflower Concert Series features Morgan James at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 20 and Green River at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24. Both performances will be held in the amphitheater at the Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary.

James is a New York-based soul singer, songwriter and Broadway actress who graduated from The Juilliard School with a classical music degree. Afterward, she performed in the original companies of five Broadway productions, then began writing and recording her own music. Her solo album “Hunter” was released in 2014. She is now on tour for her fifth studio album, “Nobody’s Fool.” 

Green River is a Creedence Clearwater Revival/John Fogerty tribute show and the brainchild of native New Yorker Rick Horvath. It’s a show of classics such as “Bad Moon Rising,” “Proud Mary” and “Up Around the Bend,” plus songs that Creedence would turn into live jams, such as “Born on the Bayou” and “Susie Q.” 

Green River also mixes in John Fogerty classics, including “The Old Man Down the Road” and “Centerfield.”

The Wildflower Amphitheater is located on the grounds of the Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary on Long Ridge Road. 

In the event of inclement weather, the performance moves to the air-conditioned auditorium at the Wallenpaupack Area High School in Hawley. Food and beverages are not permitted in the school auditorium.
