PHILADELPHIA, PA — Green Party of Philadelphia (GPOP, www.gpop.org) will host a presidential candidates forum on Tuesday, January 23 at 7 p.m. at the Poor People's Economic and Human Rights Campaign (PPEHRC) office.
The forum will feature Jasmine Sherman of North Carolina, Randy Toler of Florida, Jorge Zavala of California and Davi (DaShaun Davis) of New York.
Jill Stein of Massachusetts has been invited but has not yet confirmed her attendance.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and seating will be first come, first served.
Three experienced Green Party inspectors of elections will moderate the event. The party asks that candidates keep the discussion civil, since the same question will be answered back to back to save time. There will not be time to provide rebuttals.
Candidates should refrain from comments attacking other candidates or the party, and keep their answers focused on the policies.
The event will be live-streamed on various social media and on Zoom.
The PPEHRC office is located at 3074 Kensington Ave.
