CALLICOON, NY — Join staff from the Western Sullivan Public Library at the Delaware Free Branch at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 1 for the reveal of the Delaware @ The Delaware window project.
A reception will follow.
“This project will help beautify the community and create a more vibrant community space,” a library spokesperson said.
The window project is a community-based public art project that aims to connect library patrons with the Delaware River. The project features window art installations created by local artists of all ages, and will be displayed in the windows of the library.
The installations were created using a variety of media, including paint, colored pencils and collage.
This event is free and open to the public.
All are invited to stop by any time between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to see the project come to life. Light refreshments will be available.
No registration is necessary.
This project is made possible in part with funding from a Sullivan County Arts & Heritage Grant, funded by the Sullivan County Legislature and administered by the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance.
