NARROWSBURG, NY — TESS Mainstreet launches the sixth in a series of art pop-ups, this featuring painter Richard D’Ambrosia, from Thursday, July 25 through Sunday, September 15. An artist’s reception will take place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 3.
Although he has worked for the likes of Betsey Johnson and Bill Blass, D’Ambrosia is self-taught as a painter. “When I paint, I never try to match the carpet or the drapes!” said the artist. “Each picture I paint has a story for me. No two people see the same thing. So, I concentrate on the details and backgrounds, and keep silent—excitedly waiting to hear.”
The reception will be held in conjunction with the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance’s opening for artists Julie Harrison and Tayana Kellner.
TESS Mainstreet is located at 15 Main St.
