DAMASCUS, PA — Farm Arts Collective has collaborated with the Waters Lab at Mount Sinai in New York City to present an evening of neuroscience and performance at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 15 at Willow Wisp Organic Farm.
Titled “Science Cabaret,” the presentations will focus on neuroscience, mental health and innovative research in an evening of call and response between the disciplines of science and art.
The presenting scientists include Allison Waters, Sanjana Murthy, Jake Dahill-Fukel and Ted Panov. Each scientist is paired with a performer, who uses the research as inspiration for a performance piece.
The artists include Erin Dudley, Jonathan Charles Fox, Kazzrie Jaxen, Manon Manavit, Doug Rogers and Will Sellenraad.
Refreshments will be available and a reception with the artists and scientists will be held following the presentations.
Tickets cost $30.
The farm is located at 38 Hickory Ln.
