I hope you all have become adjusted to the time change. It took our family a while to get adjusted for sure!

It is nice that the days are a bit longer, which gives us a little more time to get things done.

Spring sports have started in the middle schools and high schools. Be sure to check out their schedules online and support your local teams.

The Sullivan West Student Council is holding a blood drive at the high school on March 23 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Save the date: the Cochecton Preservation Society will celebrate 30 years after the shovel hit the dirt! Together they will remember the people who helped them along the way to rescue the Erie depot. The remembrance dinner buffet will take place on Sunday, April 30 at 3 p.m. at the Central House. The price is $45 per person. Email cps12726@gmail.com for more information.

Join the Easter Bunny and the Cochecton Men’s Club at the annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 8 at 1 p.m. sharp at the Cochecton Men’s Club sports complex on County Road 114, near the bridge to Damascus, PA.

Snacks and refreshments will be available.

For more information, visit the club on Facebook at Cochecton Men’s Club.

Yoga by the Lake is offering “The Creator Within,” an online class where you’ll learn to manifest your new reality through art. Every Tuesday, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, discover the joy of creating your own reality through art.

In this one-hour class, you’ll explore the power of creativity and the ways in which art can help us bring our dreams to life.

Led by an experienced instructor, the class will guide you through a variety of techniques and exercises designed to unlock your creative potential and help you tap into your inner wisdom. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, this class is for anyone looking to expand their creative horizons and learn new ways to manifest their desires.

No art supplies are required—just bring an open mind and a willingness to explore your own creativity. Email JodiSibilia@gmail.com for more information.

If you have a local business that you would like to have spotlighted in an upcoming column, get in touch. Email jenn@jennpowelldesigns.com with any news, events and happenings.
