WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Reporting Act, introduced by Rep. Marc Molinaro (R-NY-19), has passed the House of Representatives with bipartisan support.
Molinaro introduced this bill alongside U.S. Rep. Morgan McGarvey (D-KY-03).
The Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Reporting Act requires the Small Business Administration (SBA) to submit a report to Congress on the challenges entrepreneurs with disabilities face. Its goal is to assess needs, understand current resources available and recommend action.
“Every person, of every ability, deserves to pursue their dreams and have a shot at success,” Molinaro said.
This bill builds off Molinaro’s Think DIFFERENTLY initiative, which aims to break down barriers for the disability community.
