COCHECTON, NY — The Sullivan County Division of Public Works (DPW) is closing two road sections for extended periods starting on Wednesday, August 14, so that it can do bridge repairs.

  • A portion of County Road 115 (Odell Road) in the Town of Cochecton, NY, will close while a county-owned bridge—located immediately west of the intersection of Fred White Road and CR 115—is replaced.

The section will close to all traffic starting at 8 a.m. and will remain closed for approximately three weeks. Travelers will be directed on a detour route using Fred White Road and Tyler Road.

  • A portion of Welsh Road in the Town of Delaware will be closed for approximately five weeks. The DPW will be repairing a county-maintained bridge on that road.

This section will be closed to traffic starting 7 a.m. The DPW will post signs for a detour using NYS Route 52A and NYS Route 52.
