LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — All are invited to join the artists from the Weekend of Chamber Music (WCM) on Friday, July 19 at 7 p.m. at Catskill Art Space for a rehearsal and discussion on works that will be performed at the July 20 program, titled “Water, Land, Life.”
The open rehearsal and talk are free.
At the next program, held at 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 20 at Catskill Art Space, “Water, Land, Life” embraces the Earth, water, shifting weather patterns and the Arctic stars in a program of works that move with the planet. The music is by Berio, Debussy, Fauré, Matsui, Waggoner and John Luther Adams.
A pre-concert chat begins at 7 p.m.
The cost is $35.
At 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, WCM artists return to the Liberty Museum and Art Center with another eclectic program of solos, duos and trios, written and composed in the moment.
The cost is $20.
