PORT JERVIS, NY — The Port Jervis NY Tourism Board will hold its sixth annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Blarney Blast on Sunday, March 3 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on and around Main Street.
The Grand Marshal for 2024 is lifetime resident Kevin Keane. Mr. Keane, now retired, worked for the Port Jervis Department of Public Works as chief water treatment plant operator for 20-plus years. He is currently a member of the Port Jervis Elks and the Knights of Columbus.
The Hudson Valley Regional Police Pipes & Drums will return for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and the Sheahan Gormley School of Irish Dance will perform, along with the Broome Street TravelACing All Star Band.
All are invited to participate. Lineup for the parade begins at 2 p.m. on Canal Street and the parade kicks off at 3 p.m.
The parade route travels on Orange Street and crosses Main Street onto Pike Street/Uptown Business District, then on to Front Street and the downtown business district. Then the parade heads for Jersey Avenue and ends at Fowler Street by the Erie Depot.
