UNIVERSITY PARK, PA — Penn State Extension will offer a live webinar focused on forage production from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 7. Registration is required by March 6.
The webinar is designed for hay producers, livestock producers and grazers. Instructors will address some of the challenges producers faced last season. It also provides guidance on ways to produce high-quality forages consistently, according to organizers.
Sessions will cover forage fertility, forage weed management, fact sheets and publications that can help solve on-farm issues, and pricing of land rent and commodities.
The registration deadline is 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6. Registration, which includes a $10 fee, is required to receive the link to access the webinar. Registrants also will receive access to the webinar recording and digital copies of fact sheets.
