PLEASANT MOUNT, PA — Sunday, March 12 was the Pleasant Mount Go-Getters’ first official 4-H meeting!

I would like to introduce our new officers. Our president this year is Gabrielle Rydzik. Gabby is a senior at Forest City Regional High School; this will be her third year as our president. She has done a phenomenal job over the years, and will continue to do so this year.

Our vice president for this year is Nicole Non. This is Nicole’s first year as an officer; she is currently a sophomore at Forest City Regional High School.

This year, our club members have elected Sarah Spinelli as our secretary. This is Sarah’s second year as an officer, and she is a junior at Forest City Regional High School.

The elected treasurer this year is Johnathan Conlogue; this will be John’s first year as an officer. He is a sophomore at Forest City Regional High School.

As the news reporter this year, I would like to introduce myself: Mia Eccles. This is my first year as an officer, and I am currently a homeschooled freshman through Forest City Regional High School.

Our first meeting was held on Sunday, March 12. We talked to everyone, and we and our leaders arranged a trip to Hershey Park on June 30.

We also had a snowman-making competition with all our members. And who can forget our really fun snowball fight?

Pleasant Mount Go-getters looks forward to a great year learning, doing community service, participating at the fair and more!
