MONTICELLO, NY — The Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library in Monticello, NY is celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 - October 15) with an opening reception of Hispanic/Latino artistry on Tuesday, October 4 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
All are welcome.
Dialogos Duo will perform from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. A clarinet and guitar duo, they play compositions originating from the music of Brazilian composers and musicians.
Hispanic/Latino Sullivan County artists will then share their artwork and information about it.
Come learn about this rich culture from your friends and neighbors of Hispanic/Latino heritage who are creating it. Poets, photographers, musicians, painters, journalists, dancers—creators of all kinds of wonderful things for you to experience at the library.
The artwork will remain on display in the Robert D. Norris Community Room through the remainder of Hispanic Heritage month.
There will be light refreshments.
