LAKE HUNTINGTON, NY — Multimedia artist John John Brown, the winner at the Kerrville New Folk competition, brings hand-drawn comics to the stage at the Arts Nest on Saturday, February 24 at 6 p.m.

His original project, titled “Songs, Stories & Art—Lessons from Strangers,” weaves together storytelling in son and the visual arts.

The performance chronicles the lives of 14 characters through art and music. A spokesperson for the Arts Nest described it as “an imaginative and colorful world, revealing… that all people, strangers alike, have a story we can learn from.”
