LIBERTY, NY — Liberty Central School District Music Department will host a free concert from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, June 7, at LaPolt Park, 119 N. Main St. Instrumental and vocal ensembles for Liberty grades four through 12 will perform musical selections in a variety of musical genres.
Admission is free.
In collaboration, the Liberty Museum & Arts Center at 46 S. Main St. will be open from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and will feature artwork and poetry readings by Liberty School District students. The display includes the paintings created during the October 2023 Dove-Daffodil-Dash. Poetry is by the Youth Poet Ambassador, with original photography and artwork by Liberty teens.
The Liberty Museum and Arts Center is hosting Voices of Survivors: Inspiring Hope, Sanctuary, Compassion and Community for an extended run, through June 23.
