LAKE HUNTINGTON, NY — Singer-songwriters Kathy Geary and Elizabeth Rose will perform at The Nest on Saturday, December 9 at 7 p.m.
In 2022, Geary released “Sky High,” an EP of original folk-rock music, with her band Cloud Cover. She also produces “Now & Then,” a live weekly program on Radio Catskill, on Saturdays at 3 p.m.
Elizabeth Rose released two singles in 2023: “Maya Angelou (Songbird)” and “Burning The Candle At Both Ends.” Several more releases are planned, including songs from her Happiness Project, which was inspired by the need for uplifting experiences during the pandemic.
The Arts Nest winter concert series features singer-songwriters every Saturday night “in a relaxed atmosphere where the music can really reach you,” a spokesperson said.
Doors open at 6 p.m., and the cover charge is $20.
