ELDRED, NY — Young artists (up to age 16) are being given a platform to showcase their work. And they’ll have the experience of an opening night with their work on display at the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance’s Krause Recital Hall on August 3.
Interested young artists may submit their work directly or register for a feeder event at Sunshine Hall Free Library from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 15. The event is led by artists Claudine Luchsinger and Nick Roes.
Art supplies are provided and those who attend will automatically be included in the August 3 opening reception.
Art teachers are also invited to send images to barryvilleareaarts@gmail.com.
It’s all part of a series of events, dubbed Picasso Was Right!, that recall the artist’s famous statement: “It took me a lifetime to learn to paint like a child.”
To register, email barryvilleareaarts@gmail.com.
