HIGHLAND LAKE, NY — The North American Cultural Laboratory (NACL) welcomes back the performers, artists and technicians of Hideaway Circus for a second year on Friday, May 24 at 5 p.m.
The international ensemble will share a preview of its new show, titled “Canvas Sky,” which is currently in development.
The rain date is 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 25.
“Canvas Sky” explores the themes of self-acceptance and the importance of uplifting one another. A clown struggles to fit in and find his voice, until he gets a little help from a friend who has already figured out how to embrace what makes her wonderful and unique.
The story is underscored by original music.
Crafted by Hideaway Circus founders Josh and Lyndsay Aviner, this family-friendly experience is described as perfect for all ages.
Note that parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged.
Ticket prices start at $20. For more information on ticketing, visit www.nacl.org/calendar/2024/5/25/hideaway-circus.
NACL is located at 110 Highland Lake Rd.
For more information, call 845/557-0694 or visit www.nacl.org.
