Recently, the United States Supreme Court overthrew the central premise of American democracy: “that no one is above the law.” 

Chief Justice John Roberts and the “Supremes” decided that the president of the United States has “absolute immunity” from criminal prosecution for crimes committed as “part of the official acts” at the core of U.S. presidential powers. 

It is time for Jefferson, Adams, Franklin and associates to return from the dead to write a job description titled the “Official Acts of the President of the United States.”

Suggested official presidential acts as defined:

Inciting an insurrection to stop the counting of electoral votes?

Using a Sharpie to amend the track of a hurricane on an official NOOA weather map?

Throwing rolls of paper towels to hurricane victims in Puerto Rico and calling it disaster relief?

Placing your immediate family members on the government payroll?

Telling election officials in Georgia to find 11,783 additional votes to change the presidential election outcome?

​Order his/her handpicked FBI director to arrest and jail his political opponents?

Order the IRS to put liens on the property of media companies who criticize him/her, while jailing reporters and editors?

“Hail to the Chief” is the personal anthem of the President of the United States. The song’s playing accompanies the appearance of the president of the United States at many public events; It has lyrics; but the new title should be “Hail to the THIEF!”

Hail to the Thief we have chosen for the nation,

Hail to the Thief! We salute him, one and all.

Hail to the Thief, as we pledge cooperation,
