FORESTBURGH, NY — The Forestburgh Playhouse will open its 2024 summer season on Tuesday, June 18, with “Forbidden Broadway's Greatest Hits.”

The show is described as a must-see for theatre lovers and comedy enthusiasts alike. “This hilarious, loving, and endlessly entertaining tribute brings together Broadway’s greatest musical legends and the sharp wit of Broadway’s foremost satirist,” a spokesperson said. “Forbidden Broadway” offers witty parodies and clever impersonations of some of the theatre’s most beloved stars and songwriters.

“This show is the perfect way to kick off our 78th anniversary season,” said Franklin Trapp, producing artistic director of the Forestburgh Playhouse. “‘Forbidden Broadway’ has been a favorite for years, and we’re excited to bring this iconic production back to our stage. It promises to be an unforgettable experience for our audiences.”
