LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — Garnet Health Foundation – Catskills will hold a Fly-Fishing Clinic to benefit Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills. The event will take place at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 6 (rain or shine) at the Catskill Fly Fishing Center & Museum (1301 Old Route 17).
The cost is $75 per person and includes instruction for fly-rod casting, fly tying and fly-fishing fundamentals, as well as tours of the bamboo fly-rod handcrafting studio and museum, plus a one-year membership to the fly-fishing center(valued at $40). Additionally, lunch will be provided.
“This event is fast becoming one of our most popular and anticipated fundraising events,” said Deanna Schultz, manager of philanthropy, Garnet Health Foundation – Catskills. “We want to thank the Catskill Fly Fishing Center & Museum for their continued support and look forward to joining friends, colleagues and community members for an educational and enjoyable afternoon. All proceeds will benefit Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills and the incredible services they provide to the residents of Sullivan County.”
