HURLEYVILLE, NY — On Sunday, March 3, at 2 p.m., Frederick Cook Society executive director Carol Smith will present an exhibition of Mount Denali photos, along with a brief talk on this expedition. A performance of music in the round by Little Sparrow and friends will follow.

In 1994, the Cook Society organized an expedition to retrace Dr. Frederick Cook’s route up Mount Denali in Alaska.

Cook was a Sullivan County native.

The expedition was led by Ted Heckathorn, and included the late Scott Fischer and Vern Tejas, two of the world’s most gifted mountain climbers, said Smith.

There is no charge to attend.

The Sullivan County Museum is located at 265 Main St.
