“We live in such a quaint area that offers a lot of different opportunities for residents, visitors, and vacationers; our store seems to be a perfect fit for the area,” said Ostroski, the co-founder and president.

Lake Life Pursuit offers a large selection of home décor, apparel, jewelry and gifts that are all inspired by the lake and mountains. “We are looking forward to welcoming you and helping you to ‘pursuit’ your lake life.”

 Take a moment and remember

HONESDALE, PA — “Honor Memorial Day’s true meaning” is the message from staff at the Honesdale VA Outpatient Clinic for May 29.

The outpatient clinic, which provides primary and women’s health to eligible veterans, is once again promoting participation in The National Moment of Remembrance, and asking for the community’s support.

Americans are encouraged to pause for a moment at 3 p.m.—no matter where they are on Memorial Day—to honor those who lost their lives while serving in the armed forces.

To help spread the word, employees across all Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC) sites will be asked to wear and distribute campaign buttons to remind everyone that on “Memorial Day, 3 pm, Take a Moment”.

Jolene Pryzant, LPN care manager at Honesdale VA Outpatient Clinic, is leading the drive. “We’re happy to have so many of our co-workers across WMCHC and Wayne Memorial Hospital supporting our efforts again,” she said.

Anyone interested in receiving a free campaign button can call the Honesdale VA Outpatient Clinic at 570/251-6543.

The clinic is part of WMCHC. Visit www.wmchc.net for more information on all services.
