ROCK VALLEY, NY — Singer-songwriter and bassist Colin Dempsey returns to the Rock Valley Schoolhouse with his own brand of acoustic rock at 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 9.
He will also bring some friends—Ruby Rae and Mary-Elaine Jenkins—for an afternoon of original music ranging from folk and rock to country. Admission costs a $10 donation, and all donations support the Rock Valley Schoolhouse.
There is no reserved seating, and all are asked to arrive on time.
The Rock Valley Schoolhouse is located at 9178 County Hwy. 28. Take Route 97 north from Callicoon. Go 7.5 miles, turn right onto 134 after the Basket Bridge, then continue on 134 (it changes into 28), approximately 3.5 miles. The schoolhouse will be on the left on a grassy slope. Parking is on the road.
Call 917/612-8585 for more information.
This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Re-grant Program, a program of the New York State Council on the Arts, with support from the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature. It is administered by the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance
The schoolhouse would also like to thank ENGN, its fiscal sponsor.
