ROSCOE, NY — The Catskill Public Theater will hold a stage warming party on Saturday, May 18 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at the Roscoe Fireman’s Field.

This marks the grand opening of the theater’s brand-new, state-of-the-art mobile stage. The day features live music, food and craft vendors.

Catskill Public Theater is dedicated to providing live theater experiences to Sullivan County and throughout the Hudson Valley, using a pay-what-you-can model to keep the art accessible to all.

The theater will present “Terror,” an audience-interactive play, in July. Delving into themes of justice and morality, “Terror” challenges viewers to determine the second half of the play by answering the question “Hero or murderer?” You decide.

“Our entire Catskill Public Theater team is happy to invite the community to join us in celebrating the launch of our new mobile stage,” said Marshall Shnider, founding director of Catskill Public Theater. “This stage warming party is not just about inaugurating a physical structure, but about embracing the spirit of creativity and inclusivity that defines our mission.”
