Bethany 4-H takes home the awards

HARRISBURG, PA — Members of the Bethany 4-H Club recently competed at the 2024 PA Farm Show. 

Drew Rutledge exhibited rabbits and won Best of Breed for his white satin rabbit and Best of Breed for his palomino rabbits. He also exhibited swine and placed ninth. 

Drew was presented with the Future Farmers of America (FFA) Keystone Degree and Star Farmer of the Northern Region for Pennsylvania FFA. 

Truly Zablocky exhibited baked goods in 4-H and placed first with her peanut butter cookies and second with her brownies. Truly also competed in the PA Preferred Junior Baking contest and had entries place in the youth open division. She won second place with her knitted hat, first place for peanut butter cookies, and she received a first and third place for her youth photography entries. 

Cloverbud Everly Zablocky exhibited her chocolate chip cookies. 

The club also entered its scrapbook and received second place. 

The PA Farm Show takes place each January at the PA Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg.
