HURLEYVILLE, NY — The Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre (HPAC) and Nesin Cultural Arts present a performance of Bach’s “Coffee Cantata”—and more—beginning at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 22 at HPAC.

Organizers promise an evening of chamber music, arranged and performed by the Sullivan County Chamber Orchestra.

The orchestra will also perform music by Beethoven, Mozart, Telemann and Rossini, who all loved coffee.

Narrator Edward Washington II will share the story of a worried father (sung by David Trombley), trying to find a good husband for his young daughter (sung by Alexandra Martinez-Turano). But all she wants to do is drink her favorite beverage—coffee!

The musicians include Alexandra Martinez-Turano, soprano; tenor Edward Washington II; David Trombley, baritone; Marisela Sager, flute; Akiko Hosoi, violin; Ann Bermont, violin; Nancy Wegrzyn, viola; Luke Krafka, cello; Andrew Trombley, double bass; and Kenneth Hamrick, harpsichord.

Refreshments will be offered for purchase—including coffee.

The cost of general admission is $25; members get 20 percent off. Tickets can be purchased at ci.ovationtix.com/34881/production/1154260.
