DINGMANS FERRY, PA — The Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) will hold workshops on weather preparedness and bird feeders. Pre-registration is requested until otherwise noted.

On Saturday, January 27 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., learn how survive in the wintry outdoors. There is no charge to attend.

You’ll learn to build a shelter, try starting a fire, and pick up other useful skills for wintertime in the outdoors. This program is best suited for individuals aged 12 and up.

At Bird Bonanza, held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Sunday, January 28, attendees can watch PEEC’s bird feeders and learn how to create their own from recycled materials.

Supplies are provided, but you can bring your own. There is no charge to attend.

Lead support is provided by the William Penn Foundation.

PEEC is located at 538 Emery Rd.
