NEW YORK STATE — The state office for the aging will celebrate Older New Yorkers’ Day on Tuesday, May 14; Sullivan County can add up to two local honorees. The deadline for submitting nominees is Wednesday, February 7.
Nominations can come from civic leaders, elected officials and community organizations.
The nominee should be a volunteer aged 55 or older who has made a difference in the community through civic engagement.
