BEACH LAKE, PA — The Delaware Highlands Conservancy (DHC) will hold community programs in March and April at the Van Scott Nature Reserve.

The next program is titled “What’s the Weather,” and it takes place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 16. It’s a chance to learn about the weather, explore the intricacies of weather formation, discover its effects on human decisions, and examine the impact it has on wildlife and our shared natural environment.

The cost is $5 for conservancy members or $10 for non-members; kids aged 12 and under are admitted free. Children must be accompanied by an adult to attend the program. The nature reserve is located at 571 Perkins Pond Rd. Space is limited for each program and advance registration is required.

For details on the March 23 event, see Sandy Long’s River Talk column.

For program details and to register, visit www.DelawareHighlands.org/events or call education and volunteer coordinator Rachel Morrow at 570/226-3164 ext. 2.
