WAWAYANDA, NY — The New York State Police are continuing to investigate the fatal bus crash that took place on September 21 on Interstate 84. The driver of the bus has been identified as Lisa Schaffer, 59, from Centereach. The bus carried 40 students from Farmingdale High School, headed to band camp in Greeley, PA. The New York State Police identified the two killed in the accident as Gina Pellettiere, 43, and Beatrice Ferrari, 77. The five students who were listed in critical condition are all recovering and have been downgraded to less critical care.
