LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — The Shandelee Music Festival (SMF) continues the celebration of its 30th anniversary season with “An Evening of Solo Piano,” performed by Anna Fedorova at 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 17 in the Sunset Concert Pavilion.

Fedorova exhibited innate musical maturity and technical abilities from an early age, a SMF spokesperson said. She regularly performs at concert halls around the world including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris and London’s Royal Albert Hall, and has performed with many orchestras around the world.

On March 6, 2022, Fedorova was one of the first to initiate a charity concert to raise money for the victims of the war in Ukraine, together with Interartists Amsterdam and the Concertgebouw. She has continued to perform benefit concerts for Ukraine ever since.

In 2022, Fedorova and double bassist Nicholas Santangelo Schwartz founded the Davidsbündler Music Academy in The Hague; the academy provides top-quality musical education to Ukrainian refugees who have fled to the Netherlands.
She has released multiple albums, and her YouTube recording of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 has been viewed over 38 million times.

The August 17 concert at the SMF will feature music by Chopin, Grieg, Schumann and Sylvestrov.

Tickets for “An Evening of Solo Piano” featuring Anna Fedorova cost $35 for adults, $30 for SMF members and $10 for students aged 17 and under.
