SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — The Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce will hold two ribbon cuttings, one on Friday, March 1 and the second on Saturday, March 2. 

Upstate CPR will hold its grand opening and ribbon cutting on Friday at 1 p.m. at the company’s training center, 4052 Rte. 52 in Youngsville. 

Upstate CPR provides life-saving training in first aid and CPR. “Quality programs, first-class instructors, new equipment and a clean facility sets us aside from other schools and training sites,” the company stated. 

A tour of the facility will be offered. 

Upstate will be open Mondays, 8 a.m. to 12 noon; Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Thursdays and Fridays, 8 a.m. to 12 noon; and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Then at 10 a.m. on March 2, Blueline Equipment Sales and Rentals will hold a ribbon cutting and open house at its new repair facility in Jeffersonville.  

Blueline is a local law enforcement family-owned dealership for ECHO power equipment, Oregon supplies and Exmark mowers. It is currently undergoing construction of a 50-foot-by-70-foot repair facility, allowing Blueline to provide small engine repair.

 The repair facility will also be the home of heavy-equipment repair company Blueline Diesel Repair. Blueline Diesel Repair was founded in 2018 and has been servicing the tri-state area with on-site equipment repair ever since. This new repair facility will accommodate heavy truck repair and large-scale repairs that cannot be completed in the field. 

Blueline’s rental fleet currently includes mini excavators, skid steers and telehandler forklifts—and the product line will expand.

During the grand opening, the community can meet the owners and learn more about the products offered. All first responders (with proof of ID) will receive 10 percent off. There will be light refreshments in the morning. 

Blueline is currently open by appointment only.
