HONESDALE, PA — Kicking off at 12 noon on National Beer Day, Sunday, April 7, the Stourbridge Line and Runaway Train Brewery have partnered on a series of beer-tasting events throughout the 2024 season aboard the train.

The journeys will simultaneously introduce passengers to the history played by the railroad and local craft brewing in Honesdale’s past. 

On that first excursion of the year, passengers will take a train ride along the Lackawaxen River while being treated to two pints of the Runaway Train’s specialty craft beers, paired with snacks. 

Attendees will learn about the railroad and listen as a brewery representative explains the tasting notes and the history and experience of craft beer making.
