Teen Tech Wednesdays

Posted by WesternSullivan

Are you interested in Coding, Robotics, or 3D Printing? Then come check out Teen Tech Wednesdays, Wednesday afternoons from August 14th-August 28th at the Tusten-Cochecton Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library! Each week we will take a fun look at a different aspect of technology with hands-on opportunities to learn how it works and how creative you can be! We begin by using Code.org to guide the students through creating different scenarios with block-coding and applying those techniques to creating our own video games! Then we will work in groups to design and build programmable robots that can be taken home! Finally we will get a chance to explore the creations of others in Virtual Reality with the library’s new Playstation VR system!

Teen Tech Wednesdays is recommended for ages 10 and up, and runs Wednesdays August 14th, 21st, and 28th from 12-2pm in the Community Room of the Tusten-Cochecton Branch. We hope to see you there! For more information or to register please call the Tusten-Cochecton Branch at 845-252-3360, or visit our website at wsplonline.org.
