MONTICELLO, NY — The inagural Monticello Rotary Taste of Sullivan event will be held at SUNY Sullivan from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9.

It takes place at the Paul Gerry Fieldhouse and will benefit the county Federation for the Homeless.

Over 20 Sullivan County restaurants, distilleries and food distributors will be serving samplings of their culinary delicacies. From appetizers to desserts, participants will enjoy the multicultural and diverse eatery options in the area.

Students from the SUNY Sullivan Culinary Department, along with SUNY Rotary members, as well as members of the Fallsburg High School Interact Club, will be on hand to showcase their culinary talents and assist with the event.  

In addition, Tri-Valley High School FFA (Future Farmers of America) and its floral design class will create table decorations in honor of Monticello Rotary’s 100th anniversary. 

In addition, raffles will be available for gift certificates to the vendors present and many others throughout Sullivan County to help raise funds for this worthy cause.
