NARROWSBURG, NY — Set aside a few moments on Saturday, October 14 to enjoy soup, which you can pick up at the Narrowsburg Farmers’ Market.
The cost is a donation of $5 for a 16-ounce container of soup, and the proceeds benefit the Narrowsburg Ecumenical Food Pantry.
Soup for Good will feature two soups created by Chef Jasper Alivia that will be available on site or to-go. One soup will be bone broth-based and the other will be a vegetarian soup.
The market runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“The community has been very generous in support of this event,” said coordinator Elaine Giguere. “This couldn’t happen without cooperation from the Narrowsburg Farmers’ Market (Greg Swartz, market manager) and its vendors, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, the Narrowsburg Union and Narrowsburg Ecumenical Food Pantry volunteers.”
Ingredients, she said, are locally sourced.
Farmers Market vendors will provide sweets and fruit for those eating on site.
The Narrowsburg Farmers’ Market is located at the Narrowsburg Union, 7 Erie Ave.
