MONTICELLO, NY – A Monticello woman was arrested Tuesday on nine outstanding warrants from the Town of Thompson court charging petit larceny.
Priscilla M. Franklin, 41, was wanted for failing to appear on multiple shoplifting charges from Marshall’s, ShopRite and the Old Navy store in the Thompson Square Mall. The suspect was previously arrested by the Monticello Police in January for Felony Burglary.
Deputy Samantha Cohn, who was on a special warrant detail in an unmarked vehicle, spotted Franklin near Fulton Street in Monticello and took her into custody.
Franklin was arraigned before Town of Thompson Judge Sharon Jankiewicz and sent to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail. The defendant is due back in Thompson court on March 7 at 5 p.m.
