HONESDALE, PA, — Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell on August 1 announced that the following cases were addressed by the Honorable Janine Edwards, President Judge, Wayne County Court:

Brittany Schwartz, 33, of Prompton, PA, was placed on probation for a period of 12 months for on one count of Official Oppression-Arrest, Search, Etc. 

Samantha Jenisky, 27, of Forest City, PA, was placed on probation for a period of 18 months for one count of Retail Theft-Under Ring. 

Cassie Pinand, 42, of Honesdale, PA, was placed on probation for a period 12 months for one count of Retail Theft. 

Marisa Hessler, 32, of Honesdale, PA, was sentenced to no less than 12 months nor more than 36 months incarcerated in a State Correctional Institution for one count of Endangering Welfare of Children, one count of Resist Arrest/Other Law Enforcement, one count of Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and one count of Simple Assault.

Daniel O’Brien, 59, of Lackawaxen, PA, was sentenced to no less than 122 days (time served) nor more than 24 months incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility on one count of DUI. 

Todd Wignall, 57, of Honesdale, PA, was sentenced to no less than 82 months nor more than 164 months incarcerated in a State Correctional Institution on one count of Delivery of Controlled Substance and one count Involuntary Manslaughter. 

Thomas Donahue, 58, of Dallas, PA, was placed on probation for a period of 12 months for one count of Criminal Mischief-Damage Property and one count of Defiant Trespass-Actual Communication To. 

Cassandra Brooks, 25, of Honesdale, PA, was placed on probation for a period of 12 months on one count of Possession of Heroin and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

Abraham Barr, 35, Honesdale, PA, was placed on probation for a period of 3 months for one count of False Swearing. 

Joseph Minor II, 33, of Carbondale, PA, was placed on probation for a period of 12 months for one count of Accident Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle/Property and one count of Duty to Give Information and Render Aid. 

Lacey Gilbert, 39, of Honesdale, PA, was sentenced to no less than 135 days (time served) nor more than 18 months incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility on one count of Unauthorized Use of Automobiles and Other Vehicles, one count of Possession of Controlled Substance and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On August 2 the following sentencing was announced:

Marisa Heller, 32, was sentenced to 24 months to 60 months as a result of a guilty plea to Endangering the Welfare of Children, Resisting Arrest, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Simple Assault.
