Sentencing in Wayne County Court

HONESDALE, PA -- Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell announced on May 30 that the following cases were addressed by the Honorable Janine Edwards, President Judge of Wayne County Court:

Austin Lord, 22, of Tuckerton, NJ, was sentenced to 15 days of incarceration in the Wayne County Correctional Facility followed by probation for 12 months on one count of Simple Assault,  misdemeanor.

Ryan Highhouse, 27, was sentenced to 12 months and not more than 36 months incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility on three counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition followed by a six-month probation on one count of Unsworn Falsification to Authorities and one count of Sale or Transfer of Firearms.

Jacob Toms, 36, of Honesdale, PA, was placed on probation for 12 months on one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor; and one count of Disorderly Conduct-Obscene Language/Gesture, a summary offense.

Kenny Emeigh, 42, of Narrowsburg, NY, was sentenced to no less than 12 months nor more than 36 months incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility on one count of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a felony.

Anthony Grandy, 40, of Hawley, PA, was sentenced to no less than 10 days (time served) and not more than 18 months incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility on one count of Simple Assault and one count of Defiant Trespass-Actual Communications, both misdemeanors.

Ronald Barillo, 65, of Lake Ariel, PA, was sentenced to no less than 30 days and not more than 18 months incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility on two counts of Ethnic Intimidation and two counts of Harassment, misdemeanors.

Robert Ciaccio, 62, of Hawley, PA, was placed on probation for 12 months on one count of Accidents Involving Death or Personal Injury, a misdemeanor; and one count of Driving on One-Way Roadway, a summary offense.

Theodore Moser, 67, of White Mills, PA , was placed on probation for six months on one count of DUI- Commercial Vehicle, a misdemeanor.

Daniel Angermeier, 30, of Honesdale, PA, was sentenced to no less than six months nor more than 36 months incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility on one count of Aggravated Assault by Vehicle, a felony;  one count of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol Highest Rate, a misdemeanor; and one count of Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic, a summary offense.

James Battaglia, 46, of Waymart, PA was sentenced to no less than 10 days nor more than 12 months incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility on one count of Hinder Apprehension/Prosecution-Harbor or Conceal (M2).

Mack Antonoff, 63, of San Diego, CA, was sentenced to no less than 12 days (time served) and not more than 18 months incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility on one count of Theft by Deception, a misdemeanor.

Keith Havenstrite, 33, of Madison Turnpike, PA, was sentenced to no less than 12 months and not more than 60 months incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility on one count of Retail Thef –Take Merchandise or Subsequent Offense, a felony.

Joel Buck, 36, of Wilkes-Barre, PA, was sentenced to no less than 18 months nor more than 48 months incarcerated in a state correctional institution for two counts of Simple Assault; one count of Flight to Avoid Apprehension, Trial, or Punishment; Unauthorized Use of Automobiles and Other Vehicles; and one count of Altered, Forged, or Counterfeit Documents and Plate, all misdemeanors; and one count of Required Financial Responsibility, a summary offense.
