Pike County District Attorney Raymond J. Tonkin announced the following criminal sentences for the week of January 29 were issued by Pike County Court of Common Pleas President Judge Gregory Chelak:

Keith Maney, 55, of Milford, PA, was sentenced to 90 days to 5 years in the Pike County Jail, fined $2,000 and had his driver’s license suspended for 18 months for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence and Resisting Arrest. Eastern Pike Regional Police were dispatched to Hulst Drive in Westfall Township, where Maney was barefoot running between cars on July 6, 2023. Upon making contact with Maney, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected, and he was observed to have bloodshot eyes and poor balance. His vehicle was found parked and idling with numerous opened alcoholic beverage containers. Maney refused to cooperate with field sobriety tests and resisted arrest when taken into custody. Maney refused to submit to a breath test. 

Angelina Guevara, 29, of Middletown, NY, was sentenced to 12 months of probation and a fine of $300 for the crime of Possession of a Controlled Substance. During an investigation conducted by the Pike County District Attorney’s Office of Criminal Investigation Division, Guevara sold marijuana to a confidential informant between August 1, 2021, and August 31, 2021, in Westfall Township. 

Ross E. Haring, 45, of Greentown, PA, was sentenced to 20 days to 23.5 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $400 for the crime of Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer and the Summary Offense of Defiant Trespass. The Eastern Pike Regional Police Department confronted Haring on January 1, 2023, parked in a restricted area of the Airport Park in Matamoras, when the park was closed. Haring was given the verbal command to exit his vehicle. Haring refused the command, placed his vehicle in drive, and traveled over various streets of the borough, failing to stop at posted stop signs. 

Jeffery Goss, 28, of Bushkill, PA, was sentenced to a fine of $1,000 for the crime of Unsworn Falsification to Authorities. Goss provided false answers on an application for a license to carry a firearm which was provided to the Pike County Sheriff’s Department on September 21, 2022. 

Summer Williamson-Nocar, 21, of Monticello, NY, was sentenced to 1 year of probation and a fine of $300 for the crime of Retail Theft. Williamson-Nocar deprived a retail business in Westfall Township by purposely not scanning all of the items in her cart at the self-scanner on July 26, 2023. 

Michael Smith, 43, of Bushkill, PA, was sentenced to 11.5 months to 23.5 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $300 for the crime of Simple Assault. During a domestic dispute responded to by the state police, Smith struck an individual in the head, causing injury on August 21, 2023, at a residence in Lehman Township. 

Lauren Pancaro, 35, of Matamoras, PA, was sentenced to six months of probation and fined $300 for the crime of Retail Theft. Pancaro failed to scan all of the items at a retail store self-checkout located in Westfall Township on August 17, 2023, depriving the business of $68.87. 

Joseph J. Magaraci, 60, of Dingmans Ferry, PA, was sentenced to 18 months of probation and fined $500 for the crime of Criminal Trespass. The state police were dispatched to a residence in Delaware Township, where Magaraci forcibly gained entrance into a residence knowing he was not permitted to do so. 

Rory H. McArdle, 30, of Denville, NJ, was sentenced to 33 days to 12 months in the Pike County Jail, fined $1,750 and had his driver’s license suspended for 24 months for 2 counts of the crime of Driving Under the Influence. The state police stopped McArdle for faulty lighting along Doolan Road in Delaware Township on October 28, 2022. When speaking with McArdle, an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected. McArdle was observed to have a nervous behavior and sluggish speech. McArdle admitted to drinking prior to driving. Field sobriety tests indicated impairment, and a blood test confirmed a blood-alcohol content of 0.245 percent. On February 16, 2023, the state police again stopped McArdle for faulty lighting along Doolan Road in Delaware Township. When contact was made with McArdle, an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected, and he was observed to have bloodshot, glassy eyes. McArdle admitted to drinking prior to the stop. Field sobriety tests were conducted, and a breath test confirmed a blood-alcohol content of 0.104 percent.

Heather L. Almodoval, 53, of Milford, PA, was sentenced to 12 months of probation and a fine of $500 for the crime of Indecent Exposure. Milford Police responded to East Harford Street in Milford Borough, where Almodoval was sitting on a public bench naked on July 27, 2023. 

Darius Jared Forman, 18, of Greentown, PA, was sentenced to 6 months to 18 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $500 for the crimes of Stalking and Simple Assault. The state police responded to a residence in Greene Township where, during a domestic dispute, Forman choked, grabbed, and threw an individual down onto a bed and onto the floor, causing injury. Forman then communicated through use of social media, text, telephone calls and video chats, threats to send obscene photographs of the individual to the individual’s family and friends and to post the pictures online. 

Richard Warren Fraim, 29, of Bushkill, PA, was sentenced to 12 months of probation and a fine of $500 for the crime of Simple Assault. The state police responded to a residence in Lehman Township where Fraim was involved in a domestic dispute during which he pushed an individual, causing the individual to fall over and sustain an injury on June 27, 2023. 

Alicia Faye Byington, 35, of Surgoinsville, TN, was sentenced to 123 days to 12 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $100 for the crime of False Reports. Byington reported to the state police that on October 2, 2023, at a business located in Palmyra Township, an individual strangled her, knowing that it was a false allegation. 

Robert Kenneth Goss, 44, of Dingmans Ferry, PA, was sentenced to 15 months to 5 years in a state correctional facility, fined $1,500, and a driver’s license suspension of 18 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. The state police observed Goss speeding and drifting over fog lines and double yellow lines along Milford Road in Delaware Township on May 4, 2023. While speaking with Goss, the trooper detected the smell of an alcoholic beverage and observed him to have watery, bloodshot eyes with slow, slurred speech. Goss admitted to drinking prior to driving. An open can of beer was observed in his vehicle cup holder. Field sobriety tests displayed numerous signs of impairment, and a breath test confirmed a blood-alcohol content of 0.232 percent.
