WAYNE COUNTY, PA — Now’s the time to apply for a scholarship from the Wayne County Community Foundation (WCCF). Until Monday, April 1, high school seniors can apply for a scholarship through www.WayneFoundation.Org/Scholarships.

Once the main application is complete, applicants will be automatically considered for specific scholarships based on the information they provide. Some scholarships require additional information or essays.

The WCCF has supported local students’ academic ambitions for over 30 years. The foundation currently manages more than 50 scholarships, and new ones are added every year.

In addition to those meant for Wayne County high school students, the foundation also manages a few scholarships for students in other regions, as well as for adult learners and children.

The Scholarship Committee of the WCCF board will review all completed applications and make recommendations to the board for final approval.

For general scholarships, students must be Wayne County, PA residents, attending either public or private schools, or a student at Wallenpaupack Area High School for scholarships specific to Wallenpaupack Area High School Students. Selection is based on academic achievement, community involvement and financial need.

For more information, visit www.waynefoundation.org or email info@waynefoundation.org.
