FOREST CITY, PA — The Forest City Area (FCA) Historical Society presents an evening of folk music by Russ Rentler on Saturday, October 7 at 7 p.m. at the FCA Historical Society Museum.
Rentler’s shows are fast-paced with multiple instrument changes, interspersed with stories of his life as a physician/troubadour.
After college, he went to medical school in New Jersey and specialized in internal medicine. In his free time he continued to perform acoustic music on hammered and mountain dulcimer.
In 2016, Rentler left his practice of internal medicine and geriatrics and now performs original and traditional music.
The museum is located at 629 Main St.
There is no admission for the concert but donations are appreciated.
