NARROWSBURG, NY — On Friday, June 21 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., The Ruffed Grouse will host “Towards Creative Utopia.”
Ryan Ward, director of The Ruffed Grouse, will speak about the lives of outsider artists versus those engaged in various types of artist communities. J. Morgan Puett will read excerpts from “Workstyles,” which will be included in “The User’s Guide to Mildred’s Lane,” to be published in 2025.
David Kener will present “Eden,” and the anecdotes, Hebrew scripture and outdoor sculpture that revolve around that topic.
Also featured will be independent press books and zines from artists such as Alex Roth and Seneca Weintraut.
At 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, The Ruffed Grouse will host an artist talk to coincide with the final weekend of the exhibition of works by Julia Policastro and Marcelle Reinecke at the gallery.
