DELHI, NY — The Lost Bookshop and Heart of the Catskills Humane Society will partner on a kitten adoption event at the bookstore on Thursday, August 10 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Visitors can snuggle and play with adoptable kittens, and enjoy complimentary tea and snacks among the books—which will include many feline-focused favorites.

The kittens in turn will can play and socialize with people at a crucial stage of kitten development, and hopefully find forever homes.

Currently, the shelter has 134 cats and kittens available for adoption. Advanced, timed tickets are required and are available at bit.ly/delhicatcafe.

Tickets are free, but each family/group is encouraged to bring an item from the shelter’s wish list (heartofthecatskills.org/wish-list) or a $10 donation.

The Lost Bookshop is located at 120 Main St.
