Mr. Philip Adam Levy of Shohola, PA died unexpectedly on Monday, May 13 at home. He was 61.
He was born January 14, 1963 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Hubert Levy and the late Lila Friedman Levy.

Phil was a 1981 graduate of Port Jervis High School, where he played football. He was also a proud member of the NRA.

He was the owner and operator of B & Z Construction in Shohola.

A family statement read: Phil’s role as a partner, father, grandfather and brother is lovingly emphasized, sharing qualities of unconditional love, strength and generosity. These attributes extended beyond his immediate family to encompass a wide network of loved ones. He was a true gentleman who would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. He had a great love for the outdoors and his German shorthaired pointer, Gus.

Surviving are: companion Eileen Shauger at home; daughter Brittany Levy-Zeigler and her husband Kenneth of Middletown, NY, son Zackery Fitzpatrick of Slate Hill, NY; sister Margot Levy and her companion Michelle Gauthier of Dedham, MA; brother: Daniel Dino and his wife Diane of Middletown; and grandchildren Luke Zeigler and Faye Zeigler.

A visitation will be held at Gray-Parker Funeral Home, 100 East Main St., Port Jervis on Sunday, May 19 from 12 noon to 2 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with Rabbi Johanan Bickhardt officiating.
