LIBERTY, NY — Parkinson’s disease can be different for everyone. While there’s no cure, certain lifestyle changes can help manage symptoms and improve overall quality of life.
When the disease feels overwhelming for you or your loved one—or if you just want to learn more—joining a support group can make all the difference.
A support group for people with Parkinson’s disease and their loved ones meets the second Wednesday of the month at Cornell Cooperative Extension at 4 p.m. The next meeting will be held on August 14.
Attendees can share their concerns and tips on managing stress. They can learn about Parkinson’s disease and be provided with community resources.
There is no charge.
